This workshop will be dedicated to the development and implementation of Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) for pilots, including Evidence Based Training (EBT).
The outcome should align the different interpretations and expectations of this concept from the various stakeholders’ perspectives.
The aim is to hold an interactive workshop attended by representatives from the commercial air transport community, training organisations and National Aviation Authorities (NAAs). The workshop will give the opportunity to exchange views with industry and NAA representatives across Europe.
As for previous workshops, the intent is to have industry and NAAs presenting practical implementation issues and to allow for broad discussions. This is an opportunity to raise relevant issues with EASA while the workshop will also allow to share best practices across the industry.
The topics for discussion will focus on the main aspects of CBTA development, implementation and on the evaluation of the available methodologies and practices. The draft agenda will be published in due course.
