This full-day meeting will discuss issues associated with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) certification policies and procedures, with emphasis on harmonizing the latest draft version of AC 20-170a, Rev B and TSO-C214, Rev B for IMA certification.
Industry have proposed, via GAMA memorandum AVI 19-9, the following meeting topics be covered during this meeting:
- Industry feedback to draft AC 21-56;
- Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) certification policies and procedures with emphasis on harmonizing the latest version of AC 20-170b for IMA certification;
- TSO C-214 “Functional TSO Equipment Using a TSO-C153a-Authorized IMA Platform or Module”;
- New industry consensus standard for compliance with 2x.1309, and
- 2019 FAA TSO Workshop Agenda Topics proposed for mid-June 2019.
