The FAA will host a one‐day Executive Roundtable on March 13, 2020, in Washington, DC, to discuss strategic priorities and feasibility of UAM integration into the National Airspace System (NAS). The UAM Executive Roundtable will include morning briefings from representative Industry groups and FAA, followed by an afternoon plenary discussion.
- Industry and FAA attendees gain visibility into high-level priorities being advanced as well as key areas needing further development.
- Demonstrated growth and increased partnership between FAA and industry by coordinating updates as they related to the FAA offices. [Versus broad introductory nature of 2019 event]
- Buy-in established from FAA and industry on specific targets (instead of high-level) which map to the crawl, walk, run strategy which was outlined prior.
