FAA 2024-00872 Falsification, Reproduction, Alteration, Omission, or Incorrect Statements

FAA is amending, restructuring, and consolidating the falsification regulations presently located throughout title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). Regarding 14 CFR chapter I, this rule eliminates inconsistencies among the various falsification regulations and associated sanctions; consolidates all existing falsification regulations into one part under 14 CFR chapter I to standardize the existing falsification regulations; and ensures that falsification-related conduct not addressed by pertinent current regulations is covered. This rule also creates a falsification prohibition applicable to the regulations governing commercial space transportation.

FAA Order 8150.1D Technical Standard Order Program

This change transmits revised pages to Order 8150.1D, Technical Standard Order Program. It is issued to update the organizational references to reflect the recent organizational changes and address minor formatting issues. It also moves the TSO template from Appendix G to Order 8150.1 Supplement 1.

FAA AC_20-193 Use of Multi-Core Processors

This advisory circular (AC) describes an acceptable means of compliance with the applicable airworthiness regulations for multi-core processors (MCP) contained in airborne systems and equipment used in type certification or technical standard order (TSO) authorization. The document is intended only to provide information to the public regarding existing requirements under the law or agency policies.

FAA Order JO_8020.16E Air Traffic Organization Aircraft Accident and Aircraft Incident Notification, Investigation, and Reporting

This order prescribes Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) procedures and responsibilities for aircraft accident and aircraft incident notification, investigation, reporting, and documentation. It provides direction and guidance to ATO service units, service centers, service areas, offices, and facilities when they are called upon to perform or support aircraft accident investigations. All concerned personnel must familiarize themselves with the provisions of this order that pertain to their responsibilities and exercise their best judgment if they encounter situations not covered by the order.
