ASTM International (ASTM) consensus
standards for use as a means of
compliance to the applicable
airworthiness standards for normal
category airplanes. The FAA accepts
ASTM Designation F3264–21 as a
means of compliance for applicable
airworthiness standards for normal
category airplanes, with the changes
identified in Table 1 of this document.

DOT Revisions to Civil Penalty Amounts – Final Rule
This final rule provides the
statutorily-prescribed 2022 adjustment
to civil penalty amounts that may be
imposed for violations of certain DOT
regulations. In addition, this rule notes
new DOT civil penalties authority
provided in the Bipartisan Infrastructure
Law (BIL, enacted as the Infrastructure
Investment and Jobs Act).

AMC and GM to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373’ | ‘AMC & GM on occurrence reporting and on meteorological services
Following the amendment of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373 (air traffic management/air navigation services (ATM)/(ANS) Regulation) by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1338, this Decision updates the acceptable means of compliance (AMC) and guidance material (GM) to the Regulation in order to facilitate the uniform implementation of the requirements related to:
- occurrence reporting, by clarifying certain procedural aspects which affect air navigation services providers (ANSPs) and competent authorities; and
- meteorological services (MET) provision, by completing the regulatory framework with the introduction of provisions stemming from ICAO Annex 3 Amendments 78 and 79.

FAA Draft AC_20-186A Airworthiness and Operational Approval of Cockpit Voice Recorder Systems
This AC provides guidance for compliance with applicable regulations for the airworthiness and operational approval for required cockpit voice recorder (CVR) systems. Non-required installations may use this guidance when installing a CVR system as a voluntary safety enhancement.
