GAMA Hires Jens Hennig as Ops Manager

GAMA NEWS 03-5 For Immediate Release: Feb 20, 2003

WASHINGTON, DC, February 20, 2003 – The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) announced the hiring of Jens C. Hennig as manager of operations. Hennig assumes responsibility for various GAMA programs including safety and statistical research and analysis. He will also assist airport and operational issues.

Hennig, a native of Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and MBA in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU).

In addition to his studies at ERAU, Hennig managed the University’s (Part 141.91) satellite flight training facility including the maintenance and scheduling. He also developed business plans and marketing strategies for the flight training program.

GAMA President Ed Bolen said, “Jens brings a strong engineering, analytical and operational background to GAMA. He is an excellent addition to our staff.”
