GAMA Welcomes Three New Memberships
Today, the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) announced the addition of AIR, Archer, and DBT Aero as Associate Members EPIC.
AIR is based in Pardes Hana, Israel, and was founded in 2018. They are developing personal use electric vertical and takeoff (eVTOL) aircraft with a focus on a combination of aerospace innovation, automotive technology and FAA approved safety standards.
Archer is designing and developing electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for use in Urban Air Mobility. Their mission is to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility, with a goal to move people throughout the world's cities in a quick, safe, sustainable, and cost-effective manner. Archer's team is based in Palo Alto, California.
DBT Aero, with offices in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Kalispell, Montana, was formed in 2019 to commercialize advanced, integrated drag reduction—the Synergy Technology Platform—believing it’s more efficient and effective to reduce drag than increase power. They pioneer energy efficient, affordable, remarkably quiet and community friendly manned/unmanned aircraft that are faster, more stable and carry heavier payloads farther utilizing multiple, sustainable propulsion systems.
