GAMA Hires Katie Pribyl as Director of Communications

GAMA NEWS 05-24 For Immediate Release: Oct 3, 2005

Washington, DC, October 3, 2005 – The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) today announced the hiring of Katie Pribyl as Director of Communications. Pribyl comes to GAMA from Phaneuf Associates where she supported the FAA National Aviation Safety Data Analysis Center (NASDAC) conducting studies and assessments of aviation safety data. Prior to her employment at Phaneuf she was a line pilot with Atlantic Coast Airlines/Independence Air. She also worked with the company’s air carrier certification team and participated in public outreach programs.

GAMA President and CEO Pete Bunce stated, "Katie’s diverse aviation background and strong knowledge of the industry will be a resource in our work with the media and it will assist us in keeping a pulse on the industry."

Katie is a commercial pilot with over 3,500 hours of flight experience and she is also a certified flight instructor. A native of Montana, Katie graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at Prescott with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science, Summa cum Laude. She currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
