Péter joined GAMA in June of 2023, having previously worked for the New Zealand and United States Missions to the European Union as Trade Policy Advisor, and Senior Policy Specialist. In those positions, he worked to advance the economic and trade interests of both governments in Brussels, engaging with EU institutions, the New Zealand and American business communities in Europe, as well as Member State Governments in EU capitals. Péter brings expertise in diplomacy, EU decision-making, policy advocacy, and EU – focused communications strategy to GAMA.

A Hungarian national, Péter grew up in the United States and Hungary. He attended a bilingual Spanish-Hungarian highschool and he holds a Masters and PhD degree in Political Science from the Central European University. Péter is an avid swimmer and tennis player.
