Pratt & Whitney is investing $25 million (PLN 95 million) to expand its manufacturing facility in Niepołomice, Poland. The site produces complex tubular assemblies and precision components for the GTF commercial aircraft engine, PW800 business jet engine, and F135 engine powering the F-35. The expanded operation is expected to be running in 2028 and create more than 120 jobs, with support from the Polish government through the Polish Investment Zone Program.The project follows Pratt & Whitney's previously announced $100 million investment in Rzeszów, bringing its Polish investments announced this year to about $125 million. Poland is U.S.-based RTX's largest investment and employment base outside the United States, with more than 9,500 employees across Pratt & Whitney, Collins Aerospace, and Raytheon operations. ...
