AEG and Archer Aviation plan to develop a vertiport at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles, adding a major destination to Archer’s planned electric air taxi network ahead of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The companies have completed an initial feasibility study for the site, which would provide direct access to the L.A. LIVE sports and entertainment district and connect it with other locations across the region using Archer’s four-passenger Midnight eVTOL aircraft. Under the agreement, Archer would become the exclusive air taxi provider at L.A. LIVE, with the companies envisioning flights that could turn lengthy drives through Los Angeles traffic into trips of roughly 10 to 20 minutes.
