In partnership with Signature Aviation and Republic Airways, BETA TECHNOLOGIES completed a three-day series of electric flight demonstrations at Kissimmee Gateway Airport in central Florida using its Alia CX300 aircraft. The demonstrations highlighted the growing readiness of electric aviation for cargo, passenger, medical, and logistics operations in both hot and cold weather environments. The campaign builds on earlier demonstrations in Vermont and New York and supports Beta’s broader push toward commercializing short-haul all-electric flight operations, with the company’s Alia aircraft having already logged more than 140,000 nautical miles globally.Beta has now installed charging infrastructure at six airports across Florida, including new rapid-charging equipment at Kissimmee designed to perform efficiently in high heat and humidity. Hunnu Air has become the first operator in Mongolia to order the Beechcraft King Air 360, with delivery of the turboprop expected by the end of next year. The charter airline plans to use the aircraft for tourism, travel services, and VIP commuter operations throughout the country. The King Air 360 joins several recent additions to Hunnu Air’s growing fleet, including two passenger-configured Cessna SkyCouriers, the first of their kind in Mongolia, and a Cessna Grand Caravan EX alongside the carrier’s existing Caravan EX aircraft.
