Bombardier has delivered its 200th Challenger 3500 business jet.The jet was delivered to Piero Ferrari, Vice Chairman of Ferrari, and will be used for travel to Formula One races and other business engagements. The delivery comes less than four years after the Challenger 3500 entered service, marking a milestone that the company said reflects strong customer demand and its leadership in the super-midsize business jet market. Bombardier highlighted the Challenger 3500's market-leading delivery pace since 2023, low direct operating costs, advanced cabin features including the industry's first voice-controlled cabin and Nuage seating, and its Environmental Product Declaration as evidence of the aircraft's performance, efficiency, and sustainability credentials. ... The three-blade carbon fiber composite Hartzell Navigator propeller is now available for thousands more Beechcraft Bonanza models. Hartzell Propeller expanded the supplemental type certificate (STC) for the Navigator, making it available for most A36, G36, and A36TC models equipped with Continental IO-550-B or TSIO-520-U(B) engines, while excluding aircraft with the IO-520-BA engine. The expanded STC also covers early Bonanzas converted to D'Shannon or GAMI IO-550-B engines.The lightweight 80-inch propeller reduces weight by up to seven pounds, improves aircraft performance, decreases airframe vibration for a smoother ride, and is backed by Hartzell's Top Prop Warranty through the first overhaul. ...
