Pilots To The Rescue, established by Michael Schneider in 2015, has been instrumental in relocating more than 6,500 animals from overcrowded shelters to safe destinations without charging the shelters. The nonprofit operates through a network of over 1,000 volunteer pilots and uses donor-supported aircraft, including the Big Paw and Little Paw planes, to carry out these missions.
