GAMA Statement On Appointment of Senator Hutchison

WASHINGTON, DC, December 6, 2007 – Today, the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) issued the following statement regarding the appointment of Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) as ranking member of the Senate Aviation Subcommittee:

"We congratulate Senator Hutchison on her well-deserved appointment to ranking member of the Aviation Subcommittee,” said GAMA President and CEO, Pete Bunce. “She has exceptional experience in aviation policy, understands industry issues and represents a state with a strong general aviation tradition.
