GAMA Thanks FAA Deputy Administrator Rocheleau for His Service

WASHINGTON, D.C. – General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) president and CEO, James Viola, issued the following statement regarding the announcement that FAA Deputy Administrator, Chris Rocheleau, is departing the agency: 
 
“On behalf of GAMA and its membership, I would like to thank Deputy Administrator Rocheleau for his dedicated service and leadership to the FAA. When Chris rejoined the FAA in 2025, as FAA Acting Administrator, he was immediately confronted with guiding and supporting the agency in the aftermath of tragic midair accident at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. During his time at the FAA, Chris met the challenges head-on and worked steadfastly to strengthen aviation safety, advance innovation and modernize the U.S air traffic control system. He has done tremendous job working with DOT Secretary Duffy, FAA Administrator Bedford and the entire FAA organization to help further advance the aviation industry.”
