GAMA Welcomes GKN Aerospace Transparency Systems as New Member

WASHINGTON, DC—The Board of Directors of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has approved GKN Aerospace Transparency Systems as the 84th member of the international trade association.

GKN Aerospace Transparency Systems is a division of GKN Aerospace, one of the world’s largest independent first-tier suppliers to the global aviation industry with over 100 years of aerospace experience and 12,000 employees in more than 35 facilities worldwide. GKN Aerospace Transparency Systems partners with the world’s major airframe manufacturers and OEMs in designing and manufacturing glass, acrylic and polycarbonate transparency systems. The company also offers a full range of capability for design, analysis, testing and certification of cockpit and passenger windows. All three of GKN Aerospace’s transparency manufacturing sites offer certified repair station services and provide global support to aircraft operators with comprehensive component overhaul services and factory-new replacement windows.
