GAMA Welcomes Trevor Woods as New EASA Certification Director

Brussels–Pete Bunce, President and CEO of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), today released the following statement on the start of Trevor Woods’ tenure as Certification Director of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA):

“GAMA congratulates Trevor Woods on his appointment to the position of Certification Director by the Management Board of EASA. Mr. Woods brings with him a wealth of experience both within EASA and in his previous roles with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), which make him an excellent choice for this important position. His strong leadership will be essential as EASA continues to improve certification efficiency, and we look forward to working with him on this effort. GAMA would also like to express our gratitude to Mr. Woods’ predecessor, Dr. Norbert Lohl, for his leading role in the creation and growth of EASA over the last 10 years.”
