Media Advisory: Senator Brown, Congressman Driehaus and Congresswoman Schmidt To Attend Forum on GA Jobs in Ohio

CINCINNATI, OH, July 1, 2010 – The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), in partnership with GE Aviation and Hartzell Propeller, is hosting a forum on general aviation jobs featuring Senator Sherrod Brown, Congressman Steve Driehaus and Congresswoman Jean Schmidt. The forum will be held at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati, Ohio with a crowd that includes more than 500 workers and 50 local community and business leaders.

The general aviation industry contributes more than $5.5 billion to the Ohio economy. As one of the leading GA manufacturing centers in the U.S., this sector is also a  source of thousands of Ohio jobs.
