Transport Canada formally invites you to the 19th TSO Workshop which will take place on the 11th and 12th of September 2024.
The workshop will be held in downtown Ottawa in the Place de Ville Complex (330 Sparks Street - Ottawa, Ontario - K1A 0N5 - Canada).
The TSO workshop is an opportunity for the Industry to discuss subjects related to Technical Standard Orders (TSOs) directly with Transport Canada and our Certification Management Team (CMT) partners the FAA, EASA and ANAC. It will include a diversity of TSO-related subjects such as rulemaking updates from regulatory authorities, international agreements, and more.
A detailed agenda and exact location will be provided closer to the date of the workshop. The workshop will run all day between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Ottawa time (EDT) depending on the final agenda.
The workshop will consist of general sessions and specialized sessions. The general sessions allow participation of all stakeholders in general TSO interest subjects; the specialized sessions deal with specific technical subjects intended to be directly and interactively discussed.
In order to ensure a successful workshop, we are inviting interested stakeholders to please make the following submissions prior to August 16, 2024:
- submit TSO related questions to be addressed at the workshop, as applicable. Questions can be of a technical, compliance or administrative nature.
- bring forward any topic of interest you would like to see presented for the general sessions or discussed during a specialized session.
- if you would like to request a time slot for your own presentation, please indicate the topic and presenter name, with an approximate duration.

Therefore, we kindly ask that interested parties register as soon as possible by sending information about the participant’s name, e-mail address, organization and role, along with the information requested above, if applicable, and a quick description of the participant’s involvement with TSOs, to the following address:
