On behalf of GAMA’s new Environment Committee Chairman, Frank Moesta (Senior Vice President of Strategy and Future Programs, Rolls-Royce Deutschland), I am pleased to invite you to the next GAMA Environment Committee meeting on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 9am to 4pm AND continuing on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 9am to 12pm.  On both days, the meeting will be held in GAMA’s Washington, DC office conference room at 1400 K Street, NW. 

A specific agenda and workbook will be provided at the beginning of December.  We will continue our discussions and deliberations on many of the same important topics we covered in our July meeting as well as adding updates on several other events. 

These include: 

A Climate Finance Metric for Business Aviation.

GAMA’s Strategic Messaging Campaign on Business Aviation Sustainability.

ICAO updates on the CAEP Steering Group meeting, Working Group deliberations, and CAAF/3.

SAF issues, including Business Aviation use, potential mandates in the U.S., and Book & Claim.

Updates on legislative and regulatory activities in Washington, including FAA Reauthorization, FY24 Appropriations Bills, potential new rules on SAF and ESG initiatives, and Avgas/EPA Endangerment Finding.

Updates on legislative and regulatory activities in Europe, including ReFuelEU Aviation and Chemicals.
