GAMA Applauds U.S. Senate Confirmation of TSA Administrator Pekoske

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Senate has confirmed David Pekoske to serve as TSA Administrator for a second term. General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) President and CEO, Pete Bunce, released the following statement regarding the confirmation of Administrator Pekoske:

“GAMA congratulates Administrator Pekoske on his confirmation for a second term as TSA Administrator. The TSA plays an essential role in protecting the U.S. transportation system and Administrator Pekoske’s re-nomination to a second five-year term and bi-partisan support for his confirmation is a testament to his devotion to public service and recognized powerful leadership.  We look forward to continuing to work with the Administrator and his team to further advance and modernize aviation security, while maintaining the high-level of safety and security that we rely on when utilizing the U.S. transportation system.”
