GAMA Congratulates NTSB Chairman Hart and NTSB Member Dinh-Zarr on U.S. Senate Confirmation

Washington, DC—General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) President and CEO Pete Bunce today issued the following statement after the confirmation of U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chairman Christopher Hart and NTSB Member Bella Dinh-Zarr by the U.S. Senate:

“GAMA is pleased that the U.S. Senate unanimously confirmed Chairman Hart by a 97-0 vote and Dr. Dinh-Zarr by voice vote to their new positions. We look forward to continuing to work with Chairman Hart, who has served on the NTSB since 2009 and has always been willing to meet with our member companies to gain firsthand knowledge of aircraft manufacturing and new technologies. We also welcome the opportunity to work with Dr. Dinh-Zarr, who brings a strong record advocating road safety to the Board. GAMA looks forward to engaging with them and other NTSB members as we continue to improve general aviation’s safety record in the United States.”
