GAMA Welcomes Four New Members

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) announced the additions of TAT Technologies as a Member, Eve Air Mobility as an Associate Member, and Ascendance and Electra as Associate Members EPIC.

TAT Technologies, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, has been a trusted original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) solution provider since its founding in 1969. TAT offers expertise in thermal solutions, auxiliary power unit (APU) and landing MRO services. With a global presence, TAT enhances aircraft performance and operational efficiency, providing innovative aerospace solutions to its commercial and defense partners worldwide. APPROVED

Eve Air Mobility is headquartered in Melbourne, Florida, and was founded in 2020. They are dedicated to accelerating the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) ecosystem across the globe. Benefitting from a start-up mindset, backed by Embraer’s more than 55-year history of aerospace expertise, and with a singular focus, Eve is taking a holistic approach to progressing the UAM ecosystem with an advanced eVTOL project, comprehensive global service and support network and a unique air traffic management solution. Eve Air Mobility joined GAMA in 2022 as an Associate Member EPIC and has elevated their membership.

Founded in 2018, Ascendance is a French industrial startup with a mission to decarbonize aviation. It develops and commercializes two solutions: an innovative hybrid-electric propulsion system called STERNA, and ATEA, a vertical take-off and landing aircraft powered by STERNA.

Electra is headquartered in Manassas, Virginia, and was founded in 2020. They are developing and manufacturing hybrid-electric Ultra Short aircraft that integrate blown lift and hybrid-electric propulsion to achieve never-before performance advantages, including takeoff and landing in just 150 feet. With the Ultra Short, Electra is pioneering Direct Aviation, a new category that enables point-to-point air travel without airports, while dramatically reducing operating costs, noise, and emissions.
