The Indonesian Ministry of Defense has selected the Pilatus PC-24 to support transport pilot training, airlift operations, and liaison missions within the Indonesian Air Force. A contract for twelve PC-24 aircraft has been signed with PT E-System Solutions Indonesia, the Ministry of Defense’s authorized defense contractor.The agreement includes an option to purchase additional aircraft, along with ground support equipment, tools, and spare parts. It also covers training and technical support to be provided by Switzerland-based Pilatus Aircraft Ltd from its headquarters in Stans.This arrangement reflects a broader effort to strengthen operational capabilities and expand training capacity within Indonesia’s military aviation sector through the introduction of a versatile jet platform. ... Electric aviation company Vertical Aerospace Ltd. announced an agreement in principle for a financing package of up to approximately $850 million. The funding is intended to strengthen the company’s financial position and support continued development of its electric aircraft programs, including certification of its Valo air taxi.The company said the financing provides sufficient capital to build on recent operational progress and reach key milestones over the next twelve months and beyond. These include completing piloted transition flights, conducting public flight demonstrations of its current prototype, advancing its hybrid-electric demonstrator, expanding the Vertical Energy Center, progressing construction of its manufacturing facility, and beginning production of the first full-scale Valo certification aircraft.Vertical Aerospace expects to have about $162 million in near-term working capital. This includes roughly $51 million in newly raised equity, about $30 million available from financing facilities upon execution, as well as existing cash reserves and expected tax relief and government grants. ...
