AEG and Archer Aviation plan to develop a vertiport at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles, adding a major destination to Archer’s planned electric air taxi network ahead of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The companies have completed an initial feasibility study for the site, which would provide direct access to the L.A. LIVE sports and entertainment district and connect it with other locations across the region using Archer’s four-passenger Midnight eVTOL aircraft. Under the agreement, Archer would become the exclusive air taxi provider at L.A. LIVE, with the companies envisioning flights that could turn lengthy drives through Los Angeles traffic into trips of roughly 10 to 20 minutes. The project remains in the planning stages, with development subject to regulatory approvals and other requirements, and no opening date has yet been announced. ...

Since Honda Aircraft was founded in 2006, the company has delivered 275 HondaJets worldwide, building its reputation around the aircraft’s distinctive over-the-wing engine configuration and efficient light-jet design.
